I found the listing on the internet, with the listing agent being of little help. With a single cold call to Dave at Tender Care (his name had been given to me by an unrelated broker) he proceeded to investigate, report (via phone and email correspondence including photos) and liaise with the numerous people along the muddied chain of responsibility. Further arrangements were made for lodging, acquiring a trailer, and numerous bureaucratic details that needed attention in the complex process of purchase, export/import, and shipping, all in my absence, keeping in mind I live a continent away!
